· Epoxy amino coating

Epoxy amino coating is a coating system composed of epoxy resin and amino resin as the main resins in a certain proportion. It is widely used as an outer wall protective coating for can lids, can bodies, screw caps, and sealing caps. Its main properties and advantages are as follows:

Colorless coating film;

 Good chemical and processing resistance;

Good steaming and boiling resistance;

Has good color fastness when baked again

Epoxy amino coatings have high sterilization resistance, especially in strongly alkaline water with a pH of around 9-10, making them the preferred coating for protecting the outer wall of tank lids. This performance is also commonly used in packaging latex paint. The anti water absorption and anti whitening properties of epoxy amino coating during cooking are significantly better than other modified epoxy products. Due to its good heat resistance and resistance to softening, it is less prone to mechanical abrasion during heat treatment.

Epoxy amino coating has good color fastness and is not prone to yellowing when baked again, so it is widely used as an outer wall protective coating for the body, lid, screw cap, and crown cap of three piece beverage and food cans, especially when the final inner wall coating baking may affect the performance of the outer wall coating.

Epoxy amino coatings are cured through thermal polymerization. For mixed tank products, a peak temperature of 170-180°C is generally used for heating up to 10 minutes. When high resistance to cooking and chemical properties is required, a peak temperature of 200°C is required.

Epoxy amino coatings are also commonly used for inner wall coatings, but are more commonly used in lightly corrosive beverage cans, such as dairy products, fruit juice drinks, etc.
